Guest Bedroom Makeover
If you’ve been watching my IG Stories the last couple months, I’m sure you’re bubbling with excitement at the fact that you can FINALLY see this space completed. Honestly, I’m just as excited as you are because this room came together quite nicely!
When I began the planning the concept for the guest room I was certainly going for a very serene boutique hotel vibe. It was so hard for me to narrow down the million ideas I had saved to my private Pinterest Board, plus the the TON of hotel pictures I’ve saved on Instagram! What I decided to do was take elements that I loved from each space and put my “Savvy” spin on it.
BEFORE
The plan for this bedroom was for it to function as a guest bedroom and a workspace because I needed a dedicated WFH space. Not only do we now have a guest bedroom and a workspace, we now have a little “vacation room.” - I mean, we aren’t having any guest any time soon, so we may as well pretend it’s our hotel away from home. *shrugs shoulders*
The design development was tough, but doing it on a tight budget was even tougher! But I made it through without going over budget, mainly because I stole a couple items from the main bedroom. Well, just the artwork above the bed and the accent pillows!
