Office Update w/ AllModern

Last year I converted our guest room into a designated office but never got around to adding anything more than a new desk and storage cabinet. Fast forward to today, I have a well-curated office space that I’m excited to work in thanks to AllModern.

AllModern provided me with some staples from their spring collection that really made my office come alive. The space was inspired by the Ellison Handmade Area Rug; it’s bold and edgy design was just what I needed to ground the middle of my small office without overwhelming the space.

I’ve always had this dead space in the corner of my office and wasn’t quite sure to make use of the space. It wasn’t until I saw this Mid-Century Modern armchair that I’d consider placing a chair in this very spot. I was worried that I would take up too much space but I can actually open and close the closet door without having to move the chair out of the way.

I no longer have that awkward dead space and have gained another spot within the room to relax and get work done.

They also found this really sleek looking planter with drainage holes and a drip tray and it’s the perfect new home for my Pothos plant. And the Oatmeal color ties in perfectly with the new rug while also bringing in more textures to the space. It’s 7.5” H x 8.75”W and was the perfect fit for my DIY console table I made a while back.

When it came to styling my desk, I opted for this set of wooden trays to style objects and essentials on my desk in a very stylish way. One tray holds my Nude Poem Carafe (because I like to stay hydrated throughout my work day) and the other holds my candle and candle accessories.
