My Favorite Gin Martini Recipe
During my time as a bartender, guests would always compliment me on my cocktails, but they were obsessed with my martinis. Each time I’d downplay it and just thank them ( and try not to get all big-headed). On the inside I was patting myself on the back, because I expected every cocktail I crafted to be nothing less than perfect.
Nonetheless, there’s a ton of camaraderie around whether a martini should be SHAKEN or STIRRED! -I’m team Stirred all the wayyyyyy! By stirring the cocktail you’re evenly diluting it, and the result is a perfectly balanced martini that packs a punch. If you’d choose to shake it, you’ll end up with a martini that tastes watered down because you’re breaking the ice. In my opinion, stirring your martini is the best wya to go!
Go ahead and give both methods a shot, then shoot me a DM on Instagram and let me know which martini you liked better!
